Talent Network — the cross-org candidate pool
The Talent Network is the Jobs surface only Turtini can offer: every candidate who opts in becomes searchable to every Turtini org hiring for a matching role. Candidates own the profile (uid = doc id), so they can revoke or block specific orgs at any time.
How candidates opt in:
• Apply to any role on a Turtini-powered Careers page
• Toggle "I'm open to similar roles at other Turtini orgs" on their personal profile
• That writes talentNetworkProfiles/{uid} with optIn=true
How orgs search:
1. Jobs → Talent Network tab
2. Free-form query — "sous chef NYC", "remote node.js engineer", "fundraising lead"
3. Filter by work mode if needed
4. Card shows headline, locations, skills, years of experience — contact info stays private until intro
How intros work:
• Click "Request intro" on a candidate card
• The candidate receives an email and a card in their /me/jobs/inbox
• They accept (you see their contact info + can apply them to a posting) or decline (no info leaks)
• The candidate sees who's reaching out before deciding — no cold messaging surface, ever
Privacy guardrails:
• blockedOrgIds on the profile hides the candidate from specific orgs (e.g. their current employer)
• Server-enforced: even if you query directly, blocked candidates never come back
• Personal context can pause Talent Network membership any time without losing application history
Why this matters:
A standalone ATS can only see candidates who apply to your roles. On Turtini, every org's opt-in candidate pool flows into one network — so a candidate who applied to a different restaurant in Boston last month surfaces for your kitchen role today.
