Getting an email when someone submits a form

Turn on a per-form notification so your team hears about a submission the moment it lands, instead of having to watch the review queue.

Turning it on:
1. Open the form and find the Notifications box in the settings column.
2. Switch on "Email me on each submission".
3. Leave Recipients blank to notify your org's owners and admins, or enter one or more addresses separated by commas (for example, [email protected], [email protected]) to send it exactly where you want.

What the notification looks like:
It's an org-branded email — your logo, your colors — with the subject "New submission: <form name>". Inside, it names the form, who submitted it (their name and email when the form collected them), and a "Review submission" button that opens the submission so you can check the answers and route them into your records.

When it sends:
On every successful submission, right after the answers are saved. It never blocks the person filling out the form — if the email can't be sent for any reason, their submission still goes through. For a form that also collects a payment, the notification goes out when the submission is recorded.

Turning it off is the same switch — flip it off and no more emails send for this form. The setting is per form, so a high-volume public form and a quiet internal one can have completely different notification behavior.
