Understanding Stripe connection status
The Stripe panel in Settings → Integrations shows one of three states:
Active — Stripe has approved your account and both charges and payouts are enabled. Your org can accept payments and receive deposits.
Setup incomplete — You've started onboarding but haven't finished yet. Click "Finish setup" to return to Stripe and complete the remaining fields.
Action required — Stripe accepted your application but needs additional information or documents before enabling charges or payouts. This commonly happens when Stripe asks for business registration documents or a representative's government ID. Click "Resolve on Stripe" to see exactly what Stripe needs.
Two sub-status indicators appear when the account is active:
• Charges — whether your org can accept new payments right now
• Payouts — whether Stripe will release funds to your bank account
It's possible to have Charges enabled but Payouts on hold (or vice versa). Stripe manages these independently based on their ongoing risk and compliance review.
Click "Refresh status" at any time to re-sync with Stripe if you've just updated information on their side. Turtini also listens for status changes from Stripe in real time, so most updates appear automatically within a few seconds.
"Manage on Stripe" opens a one-time login link to your Stripe Express Dashboard where you can view payouts, download statements, update banking details, and download tax forms.
