Connect Tern: bring clients and bookings into Travel Designer

Tern does not offer a public API, webhooks, or a Zapier app, so Turtini cannot sync with Tern live. What Tern does provide is CSV export, and Travel Designer imports those files.

Clients:
1. In Tern, open Contacts, use the three-dot menu at the top right, and choose Export. Tern downloads a CSV.
2. In Turtini, open Travel Designer → Partners → Imports, choose Clients, and pick that file.
3. Click Preview. You see how many clients will be created, how many existing clients will have blank fields filled, and any rows that need attention. Nothing is written yet.
4. Click Import.

Each person becomes a contact (matched to an existing contact by email, or by name and birthday when there is no email) with a Travel Designer profile carrying loyalty programs, birthday, and passport nationality and expiration, so expiry reminders work. Passport numbers and the other passport details in Tern's export are not stored.

Bookings and commissions:
1. In Tern, open your bookings or commission report and use Edit Columns to include the confirmation number, supplier, client email, travel dates, and commission. Download it as CSV.
2. In Travel Designer → Partners → Imports, choose Bookings and commissions, pick the file, and click Preview.
3. Check "Columns used" — Tern does not publish its report column names, so the preview shows which column each field was read from. If a needed column is missing, the preview says which one.
4. Click Import. Each booking becomes a commission to track on the Commissions tab, linked to the client when the email matches.

What to know:
• An import never overwrites what is already in Turtini; it only fills blanks.
• Importing the same file again changes nothing. A commission you have already marked received stays that way.
• A row with no readable commission is skipped and listed, never recorded as $0.
• Editor access is required, and Travel Designer must be on.
• Live two-way sync needs API access from Tern, which Tern does not offer publicly today.
