How sharing data lowers your premium
Turtini insurance runs on a simple, enforced promise: a one-way ratchet. Your rate can only go down.
The baseline:
• When you bind a policy, it locks in a baseline rate — the worst case. Nothing you do (or stop doing) can raise your premium above it.
Sharing lowers it:
• Each carrier offer lists signals it values — things like resting heart-rate variability, sleep, or safe-driving telematics — and the exact discount each one earns (for example, "share HRV + sleep for 15% off"). Grant a signal and your monthly premium drops by that amount, visibly, before you commit.
Revoking is safe:
• Change your mind any time. Revoke a signal from My policies and you simply return to baseline for that portion — there is no surcharge, no penalty, no "we'll remember this." Revocation can never cost you.
Your raw data stays yours:
• Carriers never read your underlying signal data. They see only whether you qualify for a tier — never the numbers behind it. And every time a carrier checks your policy, it's logged on your side under "Carrier reads", so you always know who looked and when.
The ratchet isn't a policy promise on paper — it's enforced in code by the platform, so a carrier can't quietly change the deal after you've shared.
