Dynamic green-fee pricing
Green fees in Golf are dynamic: they vary by day of week and by time of day, within a season. A rate plan is how you express that.
A rate plan has:
• A season window (start and end date)
• A green fee for each time window — Morning, Midday, Twilight, Super Twilight — and each window carries a per-weekday rate, so weekends can price higher than weekdays
• A cart fee (overrides the course default)
• A priority — when two plans overlap, the higher priority wins
• Optional player-type targeting (public, member, guest, league)
How a fee is resolved for a slot:
1. The tee time is classified into a window using the course's window boundaries (Courses tab)
2. The highest-priority active plan whose season covers the date and that has a rate for that window/weekday sets the green fee
3. If no plan matches, the course's default green fee applies
4. Nine-hole rounds pay the course's nine-hole ratio of the eighteen-hole fee
Twilight discounting is just a lower green fee in the Twilight and Super Twilight windows — the same mechanism that powers the hot-deals marketing block.
Let Wally do it:
Ask Wally "raise weekend rates 10%" or "drop twilight pricing 15%" and it will adjust the plan after you confirm.
