Redeeming a gift card at the register

At a Retail or F&B register, choose **Pay with gift card** at checkout, then scan or key the TGC- code. The system verifies the live balance and applies the charge.

If the balance covers the order, settlement is automatic — the cloud trigger debits the balance, appends a transaction to the card's ledger, and posts the GL entry. If the balance is short, the picker tells you exactly how much extra to collect on cash/card.

Recipients can also check the live balance at /redeem/:code — no login required, code is the bearer instrument.
