Map tab — pins, today's route, satellite measurements

The Map tab is the dispatch-ready geography view of your jobs — every job with an address renders as a pin coloured by status, and the right panel shows you today's route, distance, and total drive time.

Pin colors mirror job status:
• Blue — new
• Cyan — scheduled
• Purple — en route
• Amber — in progress
• Orange — on hold
• Green — completed
• Slate — cancelled / invoiced

Today's route mode:
Toggle "Today's route" to draw a polyline through every job scheduled for today. Optimise (default on) lets Google reorder the waypoints for shortest total drive — a Friday with eight stops can drop 30+ minutes vs. fixed time-order.

Weather-aware reorder:
For weather-sensitive job types (roof, paint, pressure-wash, lawn), toggle "Bias dry hours" — the route reorders to put outdoor work in forecasted dry windows.

Satellite + measure:
Switch the basemap to Satellite. Two measurement tools become available:
• Polygon (area) — outline a roof, lot, or driveway and read the square footage
• Polyline (distance) — measure a fence run or gutter length

Use Map → Satellite → measure for a rough quote before driving out, or hand it to the Estimator tab for a fully drafted job with line-item pricing.
