Bunkering log — IFO, MGO, LSFO + EU-MRV / IMO-DCS rollups

Every bunkering operation gets logged with vessel, port, fuel grade, quantity, density, sulphur content, and the BDN (Bunker Delivery Note) PDF on file.

Fuel grades tracked:
• HFO / IFO — heavy / intermediate fuel oil (older spec)
• VLSFO — very low sulphur fuel oil (post-IMO-2020 cap)
• ULSFO — ultra low sulphur fuel oil (used in ECAs)
• MGO / MDO — marine gas / diesel oil
• LNG — liquefied natural gas (for LNG-fuelled vessels)
• Methanol, biofuel blends — for vessels burning alternative fuels

For each delivery:
• Port and date/time of delivery
• Supplier and barge
• Grade, quantity (metric tonnes), density at 15°C
• Sulphur content (% mass) — the regulatory line ECAs and IMO 0.5% cap watch
• BDN PDF upload (statutory: must be retained for 3 years)

Cross-feeds:
• EU-MRV / IMO-DCS — annual fuel consumption and CO2 emissions roll up automatically from the bunker log + voyage records (Bridge module). Generate the regulatory report in one click.
• CII / EEXI — Bridge displays the live CII trajectory. Burn cleaner fuels → CII improves → fewer regulatory headaches.
• Accounting — costed bunker deliveries auto-post as a Bill payable when fuel cost is entered.
