Turtini

Send a search to your computer

A search you start on your phone can be handed to the Turtini Browser on your computer, where it opens in a tab.

**What it is for**

Finding something on a phone and then needing a real screen to act on it: a long document, a booking with a form, anything with a lot to read. Re-typing the query on the other device is the thing this removes.

**How it arrives**

The computer picks it up when the Turtini Browser is running and signed in to the same account. It opens as a tab, the way the search would if you had run it there.

**Each handoff opens once**

A sent search is claimed by the first browser that takes it, so it will not reappear in another window later or open twice on the same machine. If nothing opens, the likely reasons are that the browser is not running, or it is signed in to a different account.

**It needs the Turtini Browser**

This hands off to the Turtini Browser specifically, not to any browser on the computer — it is how the search arrives as a tab rather than as a notification you have to act on.
