Photos in Find: scrolling and the photo viewer

The Images tab shows photos from around the web for whatever you searched. It fills in as you go rather than making you ask for more.

Scrolling loads more:
• Keep scrolling and the next batch of photos appears on its own — no "next page" button, no waiting at the bottom.
• The grid loads a screenful ahead of where you are, so the next row is usually already there by the time you reach it.
• When you have reached the end, it says so instead of spinning.

The same is true of web results: on the Web tab, scrolling past the bottom brings in the next set of results. When there are no more to bring in, Find tells you rather than leaving you pulling at an empty list.

Tapping a photo opens it here, not somewhere else:
• The photo opens full-screen on Find. It used to jump straight out to whichever website the photo came from, which ended your search.
• On a phone or any touchscreen, swipe left or right across the photo to move between photos, and drag the photo down to close it. The photo follows your finger while you drag, so you can see what is about to happen — let go early and it settles back where it was. The first and last photo resist rather than slide, which is how you know you are at the end.
• Every one of those gestures is also a button, and always will be: the arrows on either side of the photo move between photos, the strip along the bottom jumps to any of them, and the X in the corner closes it. On a keyboard, the left and right arrow keys move and Escape closes. Swiping is a shortcut for people who like it, never the only way to do any of this.
• Moving toward the end pulls in more photos automatically, so you can keep going without closing the viewer.
• "More like this" starts a fresh search using the photo's own description — the way to go sideways into a related search.
• "Open <site>" goes to the page the photo actually came from, when that is what you want.
• Press Escape, or the X in the corner, to go back to the grid.

A note on what you see: these are third-party photos from the open web, fetched with strict safe-search on. They are not uploaded to Turtini and Turtini does not host them.
