Announce your selections on a scheduled date

Your programme page can be built now and go live by itself on the date you announce.

Building it: Film Festival -> Program -> Import -> Programme page. Choose the site, then Generate programme page. You get one accordion section per programme category, with a film per row: title, runtime, country, language, synopsis, credits, content advisories, and a trailer where a public one exists.

Scheduling the announcement:
1. Under "Announce on this page", pick the page your public URL points at - usually the one that currently says "Selections announced soon"
2. Set the date, the time, and your timezone
3. Generate

Until that moment the programme page does not exist to the public. It is not served, it is not listed in your sitemap, it is not handed to search engines, and it cannot be read directly. At the moment you set, the page you chose starts serving the programme - at the same URL, so every link you have already shared still works.

The timezone matters. "March 1st" means midnight where your festival is, not midnight in London. Set your own timezone so the announcement lands when you expect it to.

Leave the date empty to publish immediately.

Refreshing it:
Run Generate again whenever more selections land. Your edits survive: a blurb you wrote, a poster you added, and any block you added to the page yourself all stay exactly as they are. Only the parts still exactly as the import wrote them are refreshed.

Films that leave the export - withdrawn, de-selected, or simply not in a narrower export - are NOT deleted from the page. They are kept and listed for you under "On the page, not in this export", so you decide. A page that quietly loses a film the night before a screening is the worse mistake.
