Managing the film catalog

The Films tab is your catalog - the lineup that publishes to your public program.

Adding a film:
1. Film Festival -> Program -> Films -> Add Film
2. Enter title, director, runtime, synopsis, year, country, and language
3. Upload a poster and add a trailer URL if you have one
4. Pick genres and a program section (for example Competition, Documentary, Opening Night)
5. Save

Posters go through the same image review as every upload on the platform. A poster still in review is not served to your site at all, and the rest of the film's card still shows.

Editing and removing:
- Click a film to open it, then Edit or Remove
- Removing a film takes it out of the catalog. Any screening event you created in Events is a separate record and is not removed with it

Selected submissions become films automatically. When you mark a submission Selected in the review queue, a catalog record is created from what the filmmaker submitted, so you are not retyping the title, runtime, and synopsis.

Program sections drive how the public Film Program block groups your lineup, so a visitor sees Competition, Documentary, and Shorts the way you organize them.
