Handling CUI and FOUO content in Turtini
Turtini's commercial production environment is suitable for unclassified business data — accounts, contacts, opportunities, quotes, contracts. It is NOT authorized for storage or processing of CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information), FOUO (For Official Use Only), or any classified material.
If your engagement requires CUI handling:
• Keep CUI out of Turtini documents, attachments, deck slides, and free-text fields.
• Reference CUI only by external pointer (a SharePoint / Microsoft 365 GCC High link, a CDSE / classified network reference) — never the content itself.
• When summarizing for an internal stakeholder, sanitize first: replace specific quantities, locations, and capabilities with the unclassified equivalents.
What is allowed in Turtini commercial:
• Public-record opportunity data (SAM.gov / GovWin / Bloomberg Government feeds)
• Past-performance summaries written from public sources
• CRM-style metadata (POC names, account org charts, contracting officer info)
• Capability statements and proposal artifacts marked as Distribution A (approved for public release)
If your org requires a CUI-rated environment:
• A FedRAMP Moderate / High deployment of Turtini is on the roadmap. It is NOT live as of 2026-05.
• Until then, do not move CUI workflows into Turtini. Use your authorized GCC High / SIPR / JWICS environment for those workflows and use Turtini as the unclassified system of record for the commercial side of the engagement.
