Virtual and hybrid events — the Join meeting link
An event's format is one of in-person, virtual, or hybrid (set it in the event editor). When you make an event virtual or hybrid, Turtini automatically gives ticket-holders a place to meet online — you don't set anything up.
What happens automatically:
The moment you create a virtual or hybrid event (or flip an existing in-person event to virtual/hybrid), Turtini attaches a Turtini Stage room to it. Stage is the platform's built-in live video room, so there's no third-party meeting link to paste and no separate account to manage.
Where attendees find the "Join meeting" button:
The Stage room shows up as a "Join meeting" button on the attendee's ticket confirmation email. Every attendee at a virtual or hybrid event gets it under their ticket details. Tapping it opens the event's Stage room in the browser at meeting time.
In-person events don't get one:
For in-person events, there's no online room and no "Join meeting" button — the confirmation email simply drops that button. Only virtual and hybrid events carry it.
Good to know:
• The Join meeting button links to the same Stage room for the whole event, so attendees can return to it any time from their email.
• Changing an event from in-person to virtual or hybrid later still triggers the Stage room — no need to recreate the event.
• Hybrid events get both: a physical location for in-person guests and the Join meeting link for remote ones.
