Selling tickets through partner organizations

Partner selling gives each organization that sells tickets for your event its own link. A sale made through a partner's link is credited to that partner, and the partner keeps a share of the admission it sold.

**Setting it up**

1. Publish the event with ticketing turned on. Draft events do not appear here.
2. Go to Events -> Sales -> **Partner Share** and pick the event.
3. Click **Change** next to the deal to set what each partner keeps (for example 50%) and who carries the card processing fees: split evenly, you, or the partner.
4. Add each partner with its organization name, a link code (lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, such as `outlife757`) and a contact email.

Optionally add the name buyers see (for example "OutLife757" when the organization's legal name is a company name) and the partner's website. A buyer who arrives through the partner's link sees "Supporting OutLife757" with the partner's icon, taken from that website, and the checkout tells them by name that their name, email and phone are shared with that partner.
5. Copy the partner's link, or its embed code for their own website, and send it to them.

Links open on your organization's own domain when you have one, for example `https://yoursite.org/e/your-event?p=outlife757`.

**What partners keep**

Only admission counts. Drink and food tickets, donations, and the card fees on them are never part of a partner's share. A ticket refunded later comes off the partner's total.

**Paying partners**

Turtini does not hold your ticket money; it is in your own payment account. Click **Get payout link** on a partner's row and send it to them: the partner enters where their share should go. After the event, the payout list shows what each partner is owed. Send each payment from your own bank, then record it with its check number or ACH trace.

**What partners can see**

Each partner can sign in at `/partner-sales` on your site with the contact email you entered, and see its own sales, earnings and buyers. Buyers who use a partner link are told at checkout that their details are shared with that partner, and your site's privacy policy says so automatically.
