Record cash sales at a booth — works fully offline
When someone pays you in cash, the Cash Sales pad logs it so your totals — and, optionally, your inventory — stay right. It works with zero signal, because cash doesn't need the network.
Open it:
• Cash Sales is a staff tool under the More menu in your org or work context (available with Retail, Restaurant, or Events on). It lives at /cash/sale.
Two ways to ring up:
• Products — pick items from your catalog; the sale decrements inventory for tracked products automatically.
• Custom amount — a register-style keypad for an ad-hoc total when you don't need line items.
Record a sale:
1. Build a cart or key in the amount.
2. Add an optional note ("2 waters", "refund").
3. Tap Record cash sale $X.XX. It saves instantly — online or off — and clears for the next customer.
The drawer:
• "Cash drawer (this device)" shows the running total and count of sales taken on that phone, including any still waiting to sync, so you can reconcile the till at end of shift.
Syncing:
• The top button shows Online/Offline and opens the sync panel. Sales upload automatically when you're back on; anything that fails can be retried there.
