Check-in and attendance
The Events check-in flow lets staff scan tickets or manually confirm attendees at the door.
How check-in works:
1. Go to Events → [your event] → Check-In (or use the /events/checkin route on a tablet or phone)
2. Search for an attendee by name or email, or scan their QR code
3. Tap Check In — the attendee is marked as arrived and their ticket is stamped
Check-in settings (configured in Events → Settings → Check-In):
• Allow re-entry — permits an attendee to check in more than once (useful for multi-day events)
• Require ID scan — flags the check-in as requiring staff to verify a photo ID before confirming
• Custom confirmation message — shown to staff after a successful check-in
The check-in page is optimized for mobile and works offline — check-ins queue locally and sync when connectivity is restored. For high-traffic gates on a shaky network, use the dedicated offline door scanner — see "Check people in at the door — even with no signal."
Attendance reports are available from the event's registrations list, showing total checked in vs. registered.
