Creating an event
The Events module lets your org publish events, sell tickets, manage vendors, and track attendance — all from one place.
To create an event:
1. Go to Events → My Events → + New Event
2. Fill in the title, date, time, and location
3. Choose a format: In-Person, Virtual, or Hybrid
4. Add a description, tags, and optional header image
5. Set the event type (conference, webinar, training, etc.)
6. Save — the event is added to your org's event list immediately
Event formats:
• In-Person — shows a physical address; attendees check in on-site
• Virtual — shows a streaming or meeting link; no location required
• Hybrid — supports both in-person and remote attendees
You can link an event to an Account so it appears on that account's activity timeline. Toggle "Featured" to pin the event to the top of your listing.
Events can be recurring — daily, weekly, monthly, or custom. Recurring events share a series ID so you can manage them together.
