Seasons and productions — set up a theatre season
A season groups the productions a subscriber buys as one package. A production is a single show within it, and it owns the schedule the performances are generated from.
Open Events -> Program -> Productions.
Create the season first:
1. Switch to the Seasons tab and choose New season.
2. Name it the way your audience will see it ("2026-27 Mainstage").
3. Set the first and last dates. These are for your own reference; the performances themselves come from each production's run.
Then add a production:
1. Back on the Productions tab, choose New production.
2. Give it the title and playwright, and pick the season. The season is what ties every performance to a subscription package -- leave it blank only for a one-off that is not part of the season.
3. Fill in the venue name and address. These are copied onto every performance, so you set them once.
Why the season matters: season subscription packages find their performances by matching the season exactly. A production with no season, or with the wrong one, will not appear in the package your subscribers bought.
