Record the actions you took and send them to the patient's doctor

After you treat a patient through break-glass, record what you did. This closes the loop with the patient's regular doctor so nothing you did in the field gets lost.

Right after retrieving the patient's profile, the "Record actions taken" panel appears:

1. Enter the interventions you performed, comma-separated (for example: IV fluids, oxygen, epinephrine).
2. Choose the disposition — treated and released, transported, or refused care.
3. If you transported the patient, enter the destination.
4. Add a short narrative if useful.
5. Click "Record & send to doctor".

The encounter is delivered three ways at once:

- To the patient's primary doctor (PCP) — if they are on Turtini, it lands in their inbox; if not, it is emailed as a secure link.
- To the patient's own timeline, so they always have a copy.
- To the tamper-evident audit record, with the patient notified.

You can re-submit the same encounter to correct it — it updates in place and never creates a duplicate.
