Auto-installing DNS via Cloudflare

If your org has Cloudflare connected (Builder → Domains), you can skip the manual DNS copy-paste entirely. We'll write the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records into your zone for you.

To use auto-install:
1. Add a sending domain (Builder → Emails → Sending Domains → + Add sending domain)
2. After the DNS records appear in the table, click "Auto-install via Cloudflare" on the domain row
3. The system finds the matching Cloudflare zone, creates each DNS record (skipping any already present), and marks them with "✓ Installed" in the Status column
4. Click "Verify" to confirm DNS has propagated and Resend can validate

What if your domain isn't a top-level zone in Cloudflare? If you add a subdomain (e.g. send.youragency.com) and only the parent zone (youragency.com) is in Cloudflare, the system still finds the parent zone automatically and installs the records on it.

Common reasons auto-install can fail:
• Cloudflare isn't connected for this org — connect it first under Builder → Domains → Connect Cloudflare
• The domain (or its parent) isn't in your Cloudflare account — add it there first
• The Cloudflare API token doesn't have DNS write permissions — re-create the token with Zone:DNS:Edit scope

If auto-install fails, the records are still listed — you can add them manually in any DNS provider.
