Saving and reusing templates

Once you've designed a campaign you want to reuse — a monthly newsletter, a recurring announcement format — you can save it as a template.

To save the current campaign as a template:
1. Open the campaign in the composer
2. Click "Save as template" in the top toolbar
3. Give it a name and pick a category (Newsletter, Announcement, Promotion, Welcome, Re-engagement, Other)
4. Choose visibility: Private (only your org can use it) or Public (shared in the community templates area)

To start a new campaign from a template:
1. Go to Emails → Templates tab
2. Find the template (yours appears under "Your templates"; community-shared templates appear under "Community templates")
3. Click "Use" — this creates a new draft campaign with the template's blocks, subject, and brand pre-filled
4. Pick recipients and send

To duplicate an existing template (your own or a community one) into your private library, click "Duplicate" — useful if you want to start from a community template but customize it without affecting the original.

Templates are versioned by save — duplicating freezes the current version into your library. We don't currently propagate template updates back to campaigns built from them (each campaign is a snapshot once created).
