Wally email tools — drafting and analysis

Wally has dedicated tools for Email Campaigns. Ask Wally in plain language and it offers an action card you can confirm or decline.

Available tools (gated on the emailCampaigns module being enabled):

email_listCampaigns
• "show me last month's campaigns"
• "what did I send this week"
• Lists campaigns with subject, send date, status

email_explainResults
• "how did the spring sale email do?"
• "explain why the donor recap underperformed"
• Pulls the campaign's analytics, compares to your org's recent average, highlights notable wins/issues, suggests fixes

email_suggestSegment
• "find me lapsed donors"
• "build a segment for VIPs who clicked our last 3 emails"
• Wally proposes a segment definition (clauses + AND/OR tree) and offers to save it

email_draftCampaign
• "draft a fundraising appeal for spring giving day"
• "write a welcome email for new members"
• Wally drafts subject, preheader, and a structured set of blocks; you confirm to create the draft

email_enrollInJourney
• "enroll all new signups in the welcome journey"
• Wally identifies matching contacts and offers a bulk-enroll action card

email_generateWeeklyRecap
• "draft this week's recap"
• Same as the manual button — bypasses the auto-draft idempotency check

How the action card works:
Wally never sends or modifies anything on its own. Every tool response that mutates state shows a PendingActionCard:
• Preview of what will be created/modified
• "Do it" to confirm, "Cancel" to decline
• Cost estimate (segment build is free; campaign drafting uses Haiku tokens)

If you decline, you keep the conversation context — ask Wally to refine and offer again.
