Transfer a Turtini-held domain to another registrar
Every domain you buy through Turtini is yours. If you ever want to move the registration somewhere else, the transfer-out is a one-click action — no support ticket, no waiting period after asking.
Walkthrough:
1. Go to Account → Domains.
2. Find the domain in the "Your domains" list and click "Transfer out →".
3. The inline warning expands. Confirm by clicking "Yes, unlock + reveal code."
4. Turtini unlocks the domain at the registry and reveals an EPP/auth code on the same screen.
5. Open your new registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare Registrar, anywhere) and start a transfer-in.
6. When prompted, paste the auth code from step 4.
What happens next:
• ICANN processes domain transfers in 5–7 days. During that window, your domain stays hosted at Turtini — no downtime.
• Once the new registrar accepts the transfer, they take over renewal billing. Your Turtini-side domain record updates to status "released."
• DNS records you created at Cloudflare don't carry over automatically — copy any custom records to your new DNS host before the transfer completes if you're switching DNS providers too.
ICANN imposes a 60-day waiting period after initial registration before a domain can be transferred. If you try to transfer a brand-new domain, Turtini tells you exactly how many days remain.
