Point your domain at your Turtini site

After your Cloudflare account is connected (see "Connect your Cloudflare account"), you can point any of your domains at a published Builder site in one step. Turtini does the rest — DNS, routing, ownership verification, and the SSL certificate all happen on their own.

To connect a domain to a site:
1. Open Builder -> Domains.
2. Find the domain (zone) you want in the list and click "Connect a Turtini site".
3. Pick the Turtini site from the dropdown.
4. Choose the hostname:
• Leave the hostname as @ to use the apex — your bare domain, e.g. example.com.
• Or enter a subdomain like blog to use blog.example.com.
5. Confirm the "Will resolve as" line, then click Connect.

The apex and www go together automatically. When you connect the apex (@) or www, Turtini wires up BOTH the bare domain and its www sibling — so example.com and www.example.com both land on your site, and a visitor typing either one gets there. The "Will resolve as: example.com and www.example.com" line confirms this before you connect. A deeper subdomain (like blog.example.com) is connected on its own.

If an old website was already serving at that hostname, Turtini clears the old hosting records at that exact name so the old site stops serving — and tells you which records it cleared. Your domain-verification, email (MX), and other records are left untouched.

After you click Connect, the domain moves into provisioning and goes live on its own, usually within a few minutes — no further steps. See "How long a custom domain takes to go live" to read the status timeline.
