Creating a discount code

Discount codes apply at checkout to bring down the price of a product purchase or an event ticket — or both, if you choose.

To create a code:
1. Open Discounts from the More ▾ menu (or search "discounts")
2. Click + New Discount
3. Enter the code customers will type at checkout (e.g. SPRING25, EARLYBIRD)
4. Choose Percentage off (e.g. 25 = 25%) or Fixed amount off (e.g. 10.00 = $10 off in your org's currency)
5. Pick what the code applies to — Products, Event Tickets, or Both
6. Optionally set a description (internal-only — customers don't see it)
7. Click Create

The code is immediately live and customers can redeem it at checkout. Validation runs server-side, so codes can't be guessed or manipulated client-side.

You can also tell Wally: "Create a 20% off code called LAUNCH20 for event tickets" — Wally drafts a confirm-first action card.
