Development is the fundraising and advancement OS for nonprofits, arts organizations, foundations, and advancement offices. It runs the whole giving lifecycle — from a single gift to a multi-year major-gift cultivation — on the same data as the rest of your org.
The gift ledger with soft credits:
Every gift is recorded once, but recognition can be shared. Soft credits let a spouse, a matching company, or the solicitor who closed the gift all receive credit for the same donation without double-counting the dollars. One gift, honest totals, correct recognition.
Pledges and installments:
A pledge is recorded with a dated installment schedule. The ledger tracks the balance as installments come in and flags anything overdue, so you always know who has committed, who has paid, and who is behind.
Campaign to Fund to Appeal:
Giving rolls up through a hierarchy — Appeal to Fund to Campaign — each with its own goal and a live progress roll-up. That is how you see, in real time, whether the annual fund is on pace or a capital campaign is closing the gap.
Moves management:
Major-gift cultivation runs on a moves-management pipeline. You move a prospect through cultivation stages and log contact reports along the way, so the relationship history is on the record instead of in a gift officer's head.
Membership levels:
Membership levels resolve automatically from each donor's annual giving. When someone's giving crosses a threshold, their level updates — and where you also run a box office, that level unlocks member pricing.
Per-donor giving summary:
Each contact record carries a giving summary — lifetime total, this year, largest gift, and last gift — so the full picture is one click away when you pick up the phone.
