Accounts, Opportunities and Quotes: the list beside the record
On a computer, Accounts, Opportunities and Quotes show the list on the left and the open record on the right, the same way Contacts and Mail do. Each side scrolls on its own.
To work through records:
1. Filter the list at the top of the left panel. Accounts has saved views, search, type and relationship; Opportunities has the Net New, Renewal, Won and Lost tabs with search and stage; Quotes has search and the status pills.
2. Click a record to open it on the right. The list stays where it was, so you can open the next one directly.
3. Press Edit on an account or an opportunity to edit it in the right panel. Save or Cancel brings the record back.
Lists show 50 records at a time and load more as you scroll. Drag the edge between the panels to resize them, or drag the list's header grip to move it to the other side. The layout is saved to your account.
The open record is part of the page address, so a copied link opens that record for a teammate who can see it. A link to an account your organization cannot see says so instead of opening an empty panel.
The Accounts map still fills the page: switch to Map, and click an account on the map to open it beside the list. Closing it returns to the map.
On a phone, each page is one column: the list, then the record with a Back link.
