Link a workstream to your engineering modules
Creator is a collaboration layer over your engineering modules — not a silo beside them. A workstream can bind to a record one participating org already owns in ArchOS, BuildOS, Propulsion, Mission, Comms, or Life Support.
What binding does:
It routes an existing record into the shared project by reference — the record stays owned by the org that created it, and the workstream simply tracks it. Nothing is copied. The bound module appears as a badge on the workstream ("Linked to Propulsion: Stage-2 burn plan").
How it works:
A project maintainer binds the record via the workstream. The platform verifies two things server-side before the link is allowed:
1. You're a member of the org that owns the record (owner, admin, editor, or member role).
2. The record actually exists and belongs to that org.
This keeps a project from claiming records it has no standing to share.
When to use it:
When a collaboration project's workstream maps directly onto real engineering work an org is already managing — a structural design in ArchOS, a build in BuildOS, a burn plan in Propulsion, a mission in Mission. Bind it so collaborators see the live reference instead of a stale paste.
