Members, tenant companies, and consolidated billing
Coworking tracks two kinds of customer: individual members and multi-seat tenant companies.
Members (Members tab)
Add members by direct signup or import. Each member carries a status pipeline — lead, active, paused, cancelled, expired — a plan, an optional price override, an optional dedicated desk, and (optionally) a link to a tenant company. Change status to control billing: paused and cancelled members stop being billed.
Companies (Companies tab)
A tenant company is one customer that holds several seats — a startup renting five desks, for example. Set an admin email so the company's own admin can manage seats from the member portal without you in the loop, and optionally a seat limit.
Two billing modes for companies:
• Per-seat — each seat is billed as its own member, one invoice per seat.
• Consolidated — turn on "consolidated billing" and every active seat rolls into a single invoice per cycle for the company. Individual seats are marked as billed-by-tenant and skipped by the per-member run.
Tenant companies that run their own org on Turtini can link by permission (linkedOrgId). The space sees a view of that member; it never copies the tenant's data.
