Turn guest messaging on or off

Other guests can only message you if you opt in — it's OFF by default.

To change it:
1. Open Messages (/me/messages).
2. Use the "Let other guests message me" switch at the top.

When it's off, a lookup of your cabin returns "not reachable" — no one can tell you're even there. You can still message your steward and reply to conversations you've accepted at any time.

For guests under 18: guest-to-guest messaging is never available, and this switch can't turn it on. Kids can always message their own cabin steward and family members in a shared household space.
