Resident petitions & surveys (scan-to-sign QR)

Any resident can rally the neighbourhood with a petition or a survey — no board seat required. Other residents scan a QR code to sign, vote, and comment, right from their phone.

Find it under **My Community** (in your Personal menu) → the **Petitions** tab. My Community shows every association you’re a resident of, resolved from your email — you don’t need an organization or any special access.

Start one:
• Tap **Start one**, then pick **Petition** (gather signatures + comments on a proposal) or **Survey** (ask structured questions — yes/no, a 1–5 scale, multiple choice, or free text).
• Give it a title and describe what you’re proposing. For a survey, add your questions.
• Choose whether signers can leave a comment.

Share it:
• Each petition gets a **QR code**. Tap **Share QR** to show it, copy the link, or download the image to print for a mailbox flyer, the lobby board, or a community meeting.
• Anyone who scans lands on a simple page where they add their name + unit (and optionally email) and sign or answer — **no Turtini account needed**.

Trust & results:
• When a signer’s email matches the community roster, their signature shows a **✓ verified** badge, so the board can tell residents from outside signatures.
• Everyone sees the running count, the comments, and (for surveys) the live tally.
• As the creator you can **Close** a petition when it’s run its course, **Reopen** it, or **Delete** it. A board admin can also manage any petition in the community.
