How practice sandboxes work

Every lesson with a "Practice in [module]" button opens you into a sandbox org — a temporary copy of the module with seeded sample data. Anything you do there is private to you and doesn't affect anything real.

When you finish the track, sandboxes for that track are scheduled for cleanup the next day. If you don't open one for 14 days, it auto-expires. There's a hard 30-day cap even if you keep using it. Cleanup is aggressive on purpose — it keeps your account fast and keeps holodecks short-lived (like the show).

If you want to clean a sandbox up yourself, open it and click Settings → Cleanup sandbox.
