Deleting a VM
Deleting a VM tears down the machine and its disk on the host. It cannot be undone, so it's a two-step action.
To delete:
1. On the VMs tab, tap "Delete" on the VM.
2. A confirmation appears inline. Read it, then tap "Yes, delete."
What happens:
The VM's desired state is set to "deleted" and it shows "deleting." Its host stops the machine, removes its disk, and reports that it's gone — at which point the record is cleaned up and the VM disappears from the list.
Before you delete:
• If you might want the machine's contents later, take a Snapshot or Clone it first — deletion removes the disk.
• Deleting a VM does not automatically delete its snapshots; remove those separately if you no longer need them.
• There's no "trash" or grace period — once the host reports the VM gone, it's gone.
