Market Development Funds (MDF)

Market Development Funds let your partners run marketing on your behalf — events, campaigns, content — funded from a budget you control.

How it works:
1. A partner submits an MDF request on the MDF tab: what they want to run, the amount, and the expected return.
2. You review it on the MDF tab and approve or reject. Approving MDF is a permissioned action ("Approve MDF requests").
3. Approved requests draw down against the partner's tier budget — each partner tier carries its own MDF allowance, so spend stays inside what that tier earns.

Keeping it accountable:
MDF usage is tracked against the tier budget, so you always see how much of a partner's allowance is committed versus available. Tie an MDF request back to the deals it influenced to judge return before you renew the budget next period.
