Messaging your players: templates, offers, and consent

The Messages tab in Casino Operations is where a host reaches the players in their book. It sends over the same email and SMS channels the rest of the platform uses, so a casino message goes out under YOUR property's brand, not Turtini's.

How to send a message:
1. Open Casino Operations and go to the Messages tab, then "My players".
2. Pick a player from your book. Only players whose card is linked to a Turtini account are messageable — that link is what resolves their verified email or phone.
3. Choose a channel (email, text, or in-app), optionally start from a template, write the message, and Send.

Templates: build reusable offers, event invites, comp confirmations, and welcome-back messages under the Templates sub-tab. Templates auto-save as you type — there is no separate save button.

Two consent lanes (this is the important part): an OFFER, INVITE, or REACTIVATION nudge is marketing. Marketing is only delivered to a player who has consented AND is not self-excluded or cooled-off — the server enforces this on every send, and you cannot override it from the compose screen. A message about a comp the player asked for is service, and reaches them even under self-exclusion. The compose screen shows you which lane your message is in before you send.

Opt-out is automatic and honored on the next send: a player can turn a property's marketing off in their dashboard, click unsubscribe in any marketing email, or reply STOP to any text.
