Track emissions and sustainability goals

Your footprint is built from fuel and energy you record on each asset.

To record a month: Assets -> open an asset -> choose the month, the fuel or energy, and the quantity -> **Record month**. The kilograms are calculated with the factor you chose, and that factor's source, edition and link are saved with the record, so a later revision of the table never changes what you reported.

Factors: the **Sustainability** tab lists the cited factors (the U.S. EPA GHG Emission Factors Hub for gasoline, diesel, aviation gasoline, jet fuel and natural gas, CO2 only). There is no default for electricity, because grid intensity varies by region and utility: an admin adds your utility's factor with **Add your own**, and must give its source and edition. A factor without a source cannot be used.

Goals: **Add goal** with a baseline year and emissions, a target year, and the reduction. Each goal shows a straight path to the target and whether your latest recorded year is on it.
