AIA G702/G703 progress billing

Pay apps are the industry-standard way to bill the owner against your schedule of values (SOV). Turtini bundles the AIA G702 certificate and G703 continuation sheet into one form.

To draft a pay app:

1. /buildos → Pay apps → "+ Draft pay app"
2. Set the period start and period end (typically the calendar month)
3. The form pre-loads a default SOV (general conditions, site work, framing, roofing, mechanical, etc.). Edit line names to match your contract.
4. For each line, fill:
• Scheduled value (contract value for this line)
• This period (work completed this period)
• Stored (materials on site, not yet installed)
5. Watch the right-hand columns auto-fill: prior + this + stored → total, % complete, balance to finish, retainage held.
6. The summary at the bottom shows: total completed + stored, less retainage, earned less retainage, less prior certificates, **current payment due**.
7. Save as draft, then click "Issue pay app" when you're ready to send.

On issue, the project's billedToDateCents updates. On payment, paidToDateCents updates and (if Accounting is enabled) a balanced journal entry posts:
• Cr Construction Revenue
• Dr Cash

Retainage held is computed from the project's retainagePct (set at project creation, typically 5–10%). It's released via a final pay app at substantial completion.
