Free-form canvas layout (drag anywhere)

By default, Builder pages stack their blocks top to bottom — clean and reliably responsive. When you want full control over where things sit (overlapping a heading on an image, placing an element exactly, layering pieces), switch the page to free-form canvas.

Turning it on:

In the page editor, open the page settings panel and find "Layout". Choose "Free-form canvas". Save, then reload the preview to start placing blocks.

Working on the canvas:

• **Move** — drag any block to position it anywhere on the page.
• **Resize** — select a block and drag its corner handle.
• **Layer** — with a block selected, use "Front" / "Back" to control which element sits on top where they overlap.

Blocks you already had on the page appear in a simple stack to start — just drag them where you want them. Your content scales proportionally, so the layout holds its shape across screen sizes.

Switching back:

Choose "Stacked" in the same Layout control to return to the classic top-to-bottom flow. Free-form is opt-in per page, so the rest of your site is unaffected.
