Emergency procedures library

The Procedures tab is the wheelhouse-ready reference for every emergency the SMS (Safety Management System) requires the vessel to be ready for.

Built-in procedures:
• MAYDAY — full radiotelephone call template with vessel particulars pre-filled
• Man Overboard — Williamson turn / Anderson turn / Scharnow turn diagrams with course and timing
• Fire — by location (engine room, accommodation, galley, cargo) with isolation valves and CO2 release procedure
• Flooding — bilge pump operation, watertight door isolation, list correction
• Abandon Ship — muster signal, lifeboat assignment, EPIRB / SART activation
• Collision — actions immediately after impact, damage assessment, watertight integrity check
• Grounding — engine stop, sound damage, refloat options, cargo / ballast considerations
• Piracy / armed robbery — citadel procedure, BMP5 reference, alert chain

How they render:
Each procedure shows as a checklist the OOW can tick off step by step. Voice-enabled in Wall mode: "Wally, run MOB procedure" reads steps one at a time and auto-advances on "next" or "done".

Customising:
You can override or extend any procedure with org-specific content. The SMS reference number stays linked so an external auditor sees both the standard procedure and your variation.
