Share a temporary public preview link
Want a client or teammate to see your site before it goes live? Create a temporary public preview link — anyone you send it to can open the draft in their browser with no Turtini account, and the link expires on its own.
This is different from publishing. The site stays a draft (search engines never see it), and the link only works for as long as you choose.
To create a share link:
1. Open the site in the Builder.
2. Click the publish status button in the editor's top bar (it reads "Draft", "Scheduled", or "Published").
3. Click "Share a public preview…".
4. Choose how long the link should stay active — 24 hours, 48 hours (the default), 7 days, or 30 days.
5. (Optional) Type a password. Anyone opening the link will have to enter it first.
6. Click "Create share link". The link is copied to your clipboard automatically.
Your link looks like:
preview.turtini.com/yourorg-a1b2c3
The random characters on the end keep it private — only people you send it to can find it.
Managing the link:
• Copy — grab the link again any time.
• Regenerate — makes a brand-new link and immediately retires the old one (use this if a link was shared too widely).
• Disable now — turns the link off right away, before it expires.
Only one preview link is active per site at a time, so regenerating or disabling always affects the current link.
Good to know:
• The preview shows the whole draft site, including pages you haven't published yet.
• Visitors see a small "Preview · expires in…" banner so they know it's a work in progress.
• When the link expires or is disabled, visitors see a friendly "this preview has expired" message instead of your site.
• Ready to go live for real? Use Publish (see "Site theme, domain, and publishing") — that's the permanent, search-indexed version.
