Have Wally generate a brand-aware ad or social image
Wally can generate ad images, social posts, flyers, and banners that match your org's brand — colors, logo, and font — and that are grounded in real org data like an upcoming event or a published article.
How to use it:
1. Open Wally (the icon in the top-right of any page) and describe what you want, e.g.:
• "Make me an Instagram post for the spring gala"
• "Design a 16:9 banner for our latest article on SEWP V"
• "Create a flyer for the Ansible workshop next Thursday"
2. Wally previews the image plan in an action card showing the prompt, format, and brand palette.
3. Click "Do it" to run Imagen 3.
4. Once the safety review finishes, the card shows a thumbnail with three buttons:
• Add to canvas — drops the image as a layer on the active Design Studio canvas (open Studio first if you want this).
• Open in Design Studio — jumps to Builder → Design tab where the image is already in your asset library.
• Download — saves the PNG locally.
Format hints (Wally picks one based on your wording, but you can override in the prompt):
• square (1:1) — Instagram post, generic social
• portrait (3:4) — flyer, Pinterest
• landscape (16:9) — web banner, Facebook cover
• story (9:16) — Instagram or TikTok story
• banner (16:9 wide) — email header, hero banner
Where the brand comes from:
• Colors, logo, and font are pulled from your org's branding profile, which is seeded automatically the first time you publish a Builder Site with brand colors.
• You can refine the palette by adding swatches inside Design Studio — those automatically update the org-wide profile, so Email Campaigns and Slide Decks pick up the change too.
Where the image is stored:
Generated images live in your org's design asset library (orgs/{orgId}/designAssets) and appear under "AI generated" in the Design Studio assets sidebar so you can re-use them later.
Limits:
• Imagen renders text and logos poorly, so the prompt explicitly forbids them — overlay your headline + logo in Design Studio after generation.
• Each generated image runs through the platform image moderation pipeline. If safety review flags it, the asset is hidden and Wally tells you why.
Cost:
Each Imagen call is about $0.04. The 15% platform chargeback is included in your monthly usage rollup at orgs/{orgId}/usage.
