Build your bid profile
The bid profile holds the facts your organization will stand behind in a response: who you are, what codes you work under, what you are certified for, which contract vehicles you hold, your OEM partner status, your past performance, your approved boilerplate, and which distributor quotes a given OEM on a given vehicle.
Why it matters:
When Turtini drafts responses in a later release, a draft may use only facts from this profile, and only confirmed ones. It never invents a past performance reference, a certification or a contract number.
The eight steps:
1. Identity: legal name, UEI, CAGE code and address.
2. NAICS and PSC: mark one NAICS code as primary. If you use no PSC codes, say so with "We have none".
3. Certifications: SBA 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB and the rest, with dates. An expired certification keeps the step incomplete until it is renewed or removed.
4. Contract vehicles: GSA MAS, NASA SEWP and others, with contract numbers and whether you are the prime, a subcontractor or a reseller.
5. OEM partners: for example your Red Hat partner tier and specializations.
6. Past performance: customer, agency, scope, value, period and a reference.
7. Boilerplate: paragraphs approved for reuse word for word.
8. Distributors: one row per OEM and vehicle pair, because the distributor depends on the vehicle, not only on the OEM.
Filling from SAM.gov:
With your UEI entered, "Fill from SAM.gov" pulls your legal name, CAGE, address, NAICS codes, PSC codes and SBA program dates from your public SAM.gov registration. Each of those shows "From SAM.gov, confirm" until an owner or admin confirms it. A fill never overwrites a fact a person entered. Self-declared socio-economic categories in SAM are not certifications, so they are not filled in as certifications.
Who did what:
Every fact shows who entered it and when, and for a filled fact, who confirmed it. You can attach a source and a link to the supporting document, such as an SBA letter. Only an org owner or admin can change the profile; any member can read it.
