Bid Boards: choose your boards, keywords and filters
Bid Boards watches public procurement boards for notices that mention what you sell, and puts every match in one feed with a score and the reasons for it.
Pick boards:
The Sources tab lists every board Turtini knows about and says plainly how each one works.
- Fetched automatically: SAM.gov, the DHS acquisition forecast (APFS), EU TED, UK Contracts Finder, UK Find a Tender, CanadaBuys, New York City Record, Los Angeles RAMP, Montgomery County MD, Delaware, and the Illinois Capital Development Board. You can also point a board at your own https JSON feed.
- Import only: boards with no public feed, such as Virginia eVA, DLA DIBBS and the GSA Acquisition Gateway forecast export. Paste JSON or CSV onto an import board and it is matched and scored the same way.
- Needs your login or subscription: GSA eBuy, NASA SEWP, GovWin, GovSpend, BidNet and Periscope. Turtini does not sign in for you; export what you can see and import it.
Keywords:
Comma-separated, whole words, any case. A keyword is matched in the title, the description, the agency and the solicitation number, and the feed says where each one hit. The Red Hat starter fills in Red Hat, RHEL, OpenShift, Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, JBoss and the usual IT NAICS and PSC codes. It uses "Red Hat Satellite" rather than "Satellite" on its own, which would match every satellite communications buy. Edit any of it.
Filters:
- NAICS and PSC take prefixes: 5415 covers 541511, 541512 and 541519.
- Set-asides: tick the programs you can bid. Leave all unticked for any.
- Due-date window: skip notices due too soon to answer, or too far out to care about yet.
A filter only removes a notice when the board publishes that field and it does not match. Most state and international boards publish no NAICS or set-aside, so those notices are kept and marked "not checked" instead of quietly disappearing.
The score:
Every point has a reason you can read under "Why and details": a keyword in the title is worth more than one in the description, a NAICS or PSC match adds points, a set-aside you qualify for adds points, a comfortable response window adds points, and an award notice or a passed due date takes points away. NAICS codes in your bid profile count too. The score ranks the feed; it decides nothing.
Running a board:
Press Run now on a board to fetch it immediately. Every active board also runs once a day. Nothing is ever submitted to any board, and no agency is contacted.
About SAM.gov:
Turtini searches the same public endpoints the sam.gov website uses, then reads each notice's full description, NAICS, PSC, set-aside, place of performance and public attachments. Those endpoints are not a published API and can change. If SAM.gov changes them, the board shows the error on its last run instead of an empty feed.
