Enroll in your employer’s benefits

When your employer sponsors a plan year, you enroll from /me/insurance under the "My benefits" tab.

Enrolling:
• Open enrollment shows the plans your employer offers. Pick a coverage tier — Employee only, Employee + spouse, Employee + children, or Family — and enroll. Your monthly share and what your employer pays are shown right away.

Eligibility:
• Some plan years require a minimum tenure (for example, you've worked there 30 days). If you're not eligible yet, the page tells you.

Open vs. special enrollment:
• Most enrollment happens during your employer's open window. Outside that window you can usually only enroll after a qualifying life event — a new hire date, marriage, a new child, or losing other coverage. These are "special enrollment" events.

Your coverage, your record:
• Your enrollment lives on your own account and follows you. The carrier only ever sees a rate-only view of your coverage — never your health, and never your dependents' details.
