Contribute a vessel photo

The photos on a ship's record are contributed by the community — you can add one you've taken.

To contribute a photo:
1. Open the ship's detail card in Beacon (tap it on the map or find it by name/MMSI/IMO).
2. Press "Contribute a photo".
3. Choose your image, and optionally add a credit (how you'd like to be named) and a license.
4. Submit.

Every contributed photo goes through Turtini's image-moderation review before it appears on the record. Until it's approved you won't see it on the card, and photos that don't pass review are never shown. Please only upload photos you have the right to share.
