Public booking pages — let customers book themselves

Public booking pages let visitors pick from your available slots and book themselves — no back-and-forth email needed. Each page is tied to a service or person, with calendar-aware availability, optional payment, and self-serve reschedule/cancel.

To create a booking page:
1. Builder → Booking → "+ New booking page"
2. Configure:
• Title (e.g. "30-minute consultation")
• Duration (15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 90 / custom minutes)
• Buffer time before and after (e.g. 15 min between bookings)
• Daily availability windows (Mon-Fri 9am–5pm, Sat 10am–2pm, etc.)
• Calendar integration — connect a Google Calendar so existing events block availability
• Optional payment (pay at booking or pay deposit, balance due before appointment)
• Optional intake questions (custom form — phone, address, "what brings you in?")
3. Publish → public URL like yourdomain.com/book/consultation

What customers see:
• A clean page with your branding
• Calendar grid showing only your available slots
• Pick a slot → fill out intake form → optionally pay → confirmation
• Immediate email with calendar invite (.ics) and reschedule/cancel links
• Reminder emails 24 hours and 1 hour before (configurable)
• If they need to change, they click the link in any email — no need to find your team

What you see:
• Booking → Calendar — all upcoming bookings, grouped by day
• Click any booking to view intake answers, payment status, customer contact
• "Mark as no-show" if they don't show up (auto-reminders fire to follow up)
• If they cancel, slot reopens immediately for new bookings
• Bookings link to your CRM Account/Contact when emails match

Payment patterns supported:
• Pay full amount at booking (most common)
• Deposit at booking + balance charged 24h before
• No payment at booking (you invoice later via CPQ)
• Free booking (consultations, support calls)

Linking to a Builder site:
• Drop the "Booking" block onto any page — embeds the calendar grid inline
• Or link the "Book Now" button block to the booking URL — opens a fullscreen booking flow

Limits today:
• Single-resource bookings (one calendar per page) — group/round-robin across multiple staff is on the roadmap
• No native iCal import beyond Google Calendar — Outlook + Apple Calendar coming next
