Build your fleet — aircraft, capacity, configurations
The Fleet tab is the registry for every aircraft you operate.
To add an aircraft:
1. Fleet tab → "+ Add aircraft"
2. Tail number (N-number / registration)
3. Type (Cessna 172, King Air 350, etc.) and category (single-engine piston, turboprop, light jet, helicopter…)
4. Seat configuration — total seats + default class split (e.g. 6F / 4Y)
5. Optional: home base, max range, cruise speed (drives Wally's quoting)
Capacity overrides:
- Different flights on the same aircraft can use different configurations. On a flight, you can override seat count if you're flying cargo+passengers or removing rows. The override applies only to that flight; the aircraft's default configuration stays as you set it.
Maintenance:
- Aviation pairs with the platform Fleet module if you want PMS (planned maintenance) and certificate tracking. That lives in /fleet — Aviation just references the tail number.
