Link a boat to its vessel record
For a boat or vessel, you can link the listing to its canonical vessel record so the durable hull facts fill in automatically — you enter them once, and every listing of that hull reuses them.
To link a vessel:
1. Open (or create) a listing and set its **Category** to Boat or Vessel. A "Linked vessel IMO" field appears.
2. Enter the vessel's 7-digit **IMO number**.
That's it. On the public detail page, Turtini merges the vessel record's durable particulars — flag, builder, year built, gross tonnage, length overall, beam, and class — with the specs you entered on the listing. If a fact is already filled in on the vessel record, you don't re-type it on the listing; the detail page shows both sets together as one specifications table.
This is the same idea as the rest of the platform: the record follows the asset, not the page. Sell the same hull again next season and its particulars are already there.
